Flipkart Account Management

Flipkart isn't
Amazon.
We manage it
differently.

FSN listings, Smart ROI Ads, Flipkart Fulfilled, seller score monitoring, Big Billion Day planning, and payout reconciliation - managed by a team that knows how Flipkart actually works, not one that copy-pastes an Amazon strategy.

Why Flipkart Is Different

Sellers who treat Flipkart
like Amazon consistently underperform.

The catalogue structure, ad model, fulfilment system, and search algorithm are different in ways that matter enormously. Here's where the two platforms actually diverge.

Platform Differences That Change Everything
Six things Flipkart does
differently from Amazon.
Listings
Flipkart: FSN-based, style-guide driven
Amazon: ASIN-based, keyword-first indexing
Ads Model
Flipkart: CPO (Cost Per Order) bidding
Amazon: CPC (Cost Per Click) bidding
Fulfilment
Flipkart: FBF (Flipkart Fulfilled) for Fast Delivery badge
Amazon: FBA for Prime badge
Fashion Commission
Flipkart: 0% since July 2026 on most fashion
Amazon: Full category rate above ₹1,000
Seller Score
Flipkart: Numeric seller score affects search placement directly
Amazon: Account health as metrics, not a score
Dispatch Penalties
Flipkart: Flat ₹30–₹90 per shipment penalty since Aug 2026
Amazon: Penalty via account health metrics, not flat charges
Who This Is For

The sellers who get
the most out of Flipkart.

Flipkart has a customer base Amazon doesn't fully reach - fashion, Tier 2 cities, value-conscious buyers. Here's who it works best for.

500M+
Registered users on Flipkart - with a strong index in fashion, electronics, and Tier 2 cities
0%
Commission on fashion since July 2026 - the most significant seller-side policy change on any Indian marketplace this year
01
Fashion and apparel brands
Flipkart's 0% fashion commission since July 2026 makes it the most cost-effective channel for clothing, footwear, and accessories. Combined with Myntra (same group), Flipkart gives fashion brands the broadest reach in India at the lowest cost. We manage both together.
02
Sellers already on Amazon who want to expand
Adding Flipkart without a platform-specific strategy just means duplicate effort with worse results. We build a Flipkart presence from the ground up - separate keyword strategy, separate ad structure, separate fulfilment plan - not a copy of what's on Amazon.
03
Electronics and accessories brands
Flipkart has strong electronics demand, particularly in the mid-range segment. FBF enrolment and accurate catalogue content (specs, compatibility, variant linking) matter more here than on almost any other category. We handle both.
04
Brands targeting Big Billion Day seriously
Flipkart's Big Billion Day is the single largest sale event in India. Preparation starts 4–6 weeks out - deal submissions, FBF stock positioning, ad budget allocation, and discount structure. Sellers who plan it last minute leave most of the opportunity on the table.
What's Included

Every part of your
Flipkart account. Managed.

From FSN creation and Smart ROI Ads to FBF enrolment, seller score monitoring, and payout reconciliation - one team covers the full account so nothing falls through the gap between your team's priorities.

CPO
Flipkart's ad model - Cost Per Order, not CPC. Most sellers set it wrong because they're used to Amazon's system
Daily
Seller score and dispatch compliance monitored - because flat penalties hit your settlement before you notice the drop
🔤
FSN Listing Creation & Optimisation
Flipkart's FSN structure and search indexing works differently from Amazon's ASIN system. Titles, attributes, and category mapping tuned to Flipkart's algorithm - not copied from your Amazon listings, which is the most common mistake sellers make.
📊
Smart ROI Ads (CPO Bidding)
Flipkart's ad platform runs on Cost Per Order bidding - fundamentally different from Amazon's CPC model. We manage separate budgets, CPO targets, and campaign structures for Flipkart. Product-level campaign setup, keyword selection, and daily optimisation.
📦
Flipkart Fulfilled (FBF) Setup
FBF enrolment for your fastest-moving SKUs - unlocking the Fast Delivery badge, priority search placement, and Big Billion Day deal eligibility. Inbound shipment planning, stock monitoring, and replenishment to keep FBF stock live.
❤️
Seller Score & Account Health
Flipkart's seller score directly determines your search visibility. Cancellation rate, return rate, quality metrics, and dispatch performance tracked and maintained daily - because a score drop hurts rankings before you even get a warning.
🎯
Big Billion Day Strategy
6-week pre-event planning: Flipkart-specific deal submissions, discount structure sign-off, FBF stock pre-positioned in Flipkart warehouses, and ad budget pacing for the event days. Sellers who prepare late miss deal eligibility cut-offs entirely.
🖼️
Enhanced Images & Rich Content
Flipkart's enhanced image slots and rich content sections require platform-specific dimensions and formatting. We optimise all image slots - main, alternate, lifestyle, infographic - for mobile-first display, which is how most Flipkart buyers shop.
↩️
Returns & Dispute Management
Return rate monitoring, reason code analysis, SPF claim filing for damaged or wrong returns (with label, photos, and unboxing video inside the claim window), and dispute escalation. High return rates tank seller score - we track them before they compound.
💰
Payout & Remittance Reconciliation
Flipkart remittances checked against orders, commissions, returns, and deductions. Fee errors, short settlements, and deduction discrepancies flagged and disputed. Most sellers don't know what Flipkart owes them until someone actually checks.
🏷️
Pricing & Promotions
Competitive pricing analysis, flash sale participation, coupon setup, and promotional pricing during peak events (Dussehra, Diwali, Republic Day). Price changes timed to avoid Buy Box loss and to maximise visibility during sale windows.

Problems We Fix

Flipkart-specific problems
that most sellers don't notice.

These aren't generic e-commerce problems - they're specific to how Flipkart's systems work. Most sellers don't catch them until the damage is already done.

₹90
Maximum flat dispatch penalty per shipment introduced by Flipkart in August 2026 - charged directly from your settlement
🔴
Listings categorised incorrectly and losing search placement
Flipkart's category tree is more granular than Amazon's. A product in the wrong leaf category gets indexed against different search terms than it should - hurting both organic placement and Smart ROI Ad performance. Most sellers never check after the initial upload.
🔴
Smart ROI Ads running at wrong CPO bids
Flipkart's CPO bidding isn't the same as CPC. Sellers who set CPO bids without understanding the margin math often overbid on low-margin SKUs or underbid on high-margin ones. The result is either wasted ad spend or invisibility in paid search results.
🔴
Seller score dropping from dispatch rate issues
Flipkart's flat dispatch penalties (₹30–₹90 per late shipment since August 2026) deduct directly from settlements AND lower seller score, which reduces search visibility. The penalty compounds: lower visibility → fewer orders → less tolerance for late dispatch.
🔴
SPF claims not filed within the window
Flipkart's Seller Protection Fund claims for damaged or wrong returns require label, all-side photos, and an unboxing video, filed inside the live claim window shown in Seller Hub. Once it closes, the claim is gone. Most sellers don't have the documentation ready in time.
🔴
Big Billion Day deal eligibility missed
Flipkart closes Big Billion Day deal submissions and FBF inbound cut-offs weeks before the event. Sellers who plan stock late, or who don't submit deals through the correct portal by the deadline, are locked out from the largest sale event of the year for their non-FBF inventory.
🔴
Remittance deductions never audited
Flipkart's weekly remittance statement includes commission, return deductions, logistics charges, and seller score penalties - all netting against your payout. Errors and inflated deductions go unnoticed for months when no one is running the reconciliation against actual orders.

Frequently Asked

Questions sellers ask
before they start.

FBF means your stock is stored in Flipkart's warehouses and fulfilled by Flipkart - the same model as Amazon's FBA. FBF SKUs get the Fast Delivery badge, which improves click-through rates and gives priority placement in search results. FBF is also required for deal eligibility during Big Billion Day. We handle FBF enrolment, inbound planning, and stock monitoring end to end.
Amazon charges you per click (CPC) regardless of whether the click converts. Flipkart's Smart ROI Ads charge per order (CPO) - you set a target cost per order and bid accordingly. This means the bid logic, budget management, and success metrics are completely different. Applying Amazon CPC thinking to Flipkart CPO campaigns is one of the most common - and costly - mistakes sellers make when they first add Flipkart.
Flipkart assigns every seller a numeric score based on cancellation rate, return rate, late dispatch rate, and quality metrics. This score directly affects where your listings appear in search results - a lower score means lower placement, which means less organic traffic. Unlike Amazon's account health system (which triggers warnings and suspension), Flipkart's seller score continuously suppresses underperforming sellers in search. We monitor it daily.
Since July 2026, Flipkart charges 0% commission on most fashion categories - clothing, footwear, and bags. Amazon charges the full category rate on fashion above ₹1,000. For an apparel brand selling at ₹1,499, that's a meaningful margin difference per order at scale. Fashion brands that haven't evaluated Flipkart seriously since this policy change are missing a significant cost advantage.
Minimum 6 weeks before the event. Deal submissions have a deadline - if you miss it, you're out. FBF inbound cut-offs close 3–4 weeks before the event, so stock needs to be dispatched well before that. Ad budget allocation and discount structuring needs to be planned before inbound happens, not after. We start Big Billion Day preparation the moment dates are announced and manage every deadline on your behalf.
We review your listings for categorisation, attribute completeness, and image quality; your seller score and the metrics driving it; FBF eligibility for your top SKUs; open SPF claims and whether the documentation is in order; Smart ROI Ads performance and CPO bid logic; and your last three remittance statements against your actual orders. We send a written findings document within five working days. No charge, no commitment.
Monthly retainer scoped after the free audit, based on your SKU count, order volume, and whether ads are included. Smart ROI Ads are priced as a retainer or a percentage of managed ad spend. Catalogue work for new FSN creation is priced per SKU. You get a written scope and fixed price after a 30-minute call - no surprises, no lock-in beyond the first quarter.
Yes - most of our marketplace clients run on 2 or 3 platforms simultaneously. We manage all of them. Cross-platform coordination matters: stock, pricing, and event timing decisions affect all three channels and should be made together, not in silos. One team for all three means no gaps, no conflicting strategies, and no duplicated work.
